Steve leads the firm’s workforce of design professionals, drives long-range strategy and builds new markets and capabilities. His goals include strengthening design culture and work-sharing across offices; identifying and empowering design talent; and expanding the firm’s footprint in 13 vertical markets. His more than 40 years of experience in architecture range from designing major projects in a wide variety of market sectors, to leading the efforts of creating and maintaining a national practice that included studio managing principals. Steve is an active member of the American Institute of Architects at both the local and national levels, and has participated in the AIA’s Large Firm Roundtable. He attended the Arizona Institute of Design, and is licensed in Arizona, California, Idaho, Iowa, Nevada, Oregon and Texas.
